What do I need in order to play
your games?
You can choose to play our games directly from your web-browser
(Internet Explorer/Netscape/Mozilla/AOL etc.). As all our games are
java-based, we suggest you download the latest version of Java plug-in
for the first time so that your game runs smoothly. You can also choose
to download our Poker 4 software from our Poker page and install it on
your computer (not for Apple users).
What is the difference between
playing from the web-browser and through the downloaded application?
It is simply a matter of preference as you still play the same games
against the same players. Playing through your web-browser means you can
play from any computer as you do not have to install our software.
However, the download version contains some additional features such as
logging your own stats, keeping player notes etc.
What happens if I am
disconnected from a game?
When playing on the Internet, there is always a risk of getting
disconnected. That is not always dependent on your modem speed. If the
connection between your ISP and our server is momentarily dropped, you
can be disconnected from the game but not the internet. Unfortunately,
that is something beyond our control.
We do try to reduce the effects as far as possible, for
instance by transferring players on auto-pilot mode in tournaments or
providing "All-in Protection" in poker ring (regular) games. You can
read more about these under the section, "Software and connections".
Can my friend and I play from
the same computer?
Yes, you can. However, for security reasons, we allow only one www.roundersclubsportsbook.com
account per player and one real-money account per household.
What operating systems do you support?
You can play from Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, XP, Apple Macs OS 9, OS X
and even Linux. Note however, that the downloadable Poker 4 application
does not for work Macs, Linux's, and Win95 and WinNT.
How do I learn to play your
poker games?
In the Poker School you will find lots of information on how to play.
Rules, tips and strategy guides are easily available. To see how games
are actually played we have a great interactive FLASH tutorial you can
watch.
Do I have to deposit money to
play?
No, when you sign up you will automatically get a play-money account
with $1000 play-money that you can use to play against other play-money
players. You can refill your play-money twice in 24 hours and this
service is absolutely free. You can then upgrade it to a real-money
account at a later stage.
Can I check my earlier poker
hands to see what happened?
You can review played hands to see what happened in the process by going
into the Hand History section on our site. Insert the hand number for
the correct game and click "Request history".
Note that your hand number is located on the top left hand corner of
every poker game. You can also click on the hand number of the previous
hand at the table to review the hand history.
What kind of games do you offer
at www.roundersclubsportsbook.com?
You can play all of the most popular poker games here! Our poker games
include Texas Hold’em, 7-card Stud, Omaha and even Chinese Poker. We
offer no limit, pot limit and fixed limit play as well as single - and
multi table tournaments.
Learning About Your Own Account
May I play with more than one
account? Just for play-money?
For security reasons, we allow only one www.roundersclubsportsbook.com account per
player and one real-money account per household. You can play for both
real-money and play-money with the same account, hence there is no need
to create more than one.
How can I pass money to another
player?
Due to security reasons, we do not transfer money, credits or points
between accounts. What we may suggest at this stage is that you cashout
the amount and transfer it by other means to the other person. Also,
please be reminded that passing chips across the table by deliberately
losing to a player is considered a serious offence at www.roundersclubsportsbook.com. We
apologize for any inconvenience in this matter.
How can I see the transactions
going in and out of my account?
You can check your transaction history by entering the cashier and
selecting "Account Statement".
